INLINE Warranty Repair Process and Information
Snap-on / Nexiq is a Cummins Inc. authorized repair center for the Cummins INLINE 7 and the INLINE mini. The information below will describe things to expect when using this process.

Warranty Period: 1 year from Purchase Date
Cost for Warranty Repair: $310.00 hold will be placed on credit card till the device is received by Snap-On / Nexiq and warranty status can be confirmed. If device sent is under warranty then the money being held will be released and no charge will occur.
Cost for Non-Warranty Repair: If the Device is not under warranty the price to get this repaired will cost $310.00
Repair Turn-around Time: 2-3 Business Days (Plus Return shipping time) from date of receiving the adapter.
INLINE 7 mini
Warranty Period: 1 year from Purchase Date
Cost for Warranty Repair: $0.00
Cost for Non-Warranty Repair: Device is not repaired after the warranty expires. Purchasing a new adapter is cheaper than paying for repair of this device.
Repair Turn-around Time: 2-3 Business Days (Plus Return shipping time) from date of receiving the adapter.

What should I do before calling for support
Before requesting support, please experiment a bit to reproduce and isolate the problem. When you do contact support, please be ready to provide the following information:
* The model and firmware version of the INLINE adapter you have
* The version of the Windows operating system you are using on your PC
* The actual error message or state that you are experiencing
* The steps you take to reproduce the problem
* The version of INSITE or other application software you are using

What should I do if my INLINE 6 or Heavy Duty Truck Scanner INLINE 5 adapter’s power light is off?
This indicates that the adapter is probably not receiving power. Verify that the data link cable is securely connected to both the adapter and the data link connector and that there are no bent pins in the connectors.
What does it mean if the power light of my INLINE 6 is red or the power light of my INLINE 5 blinking on and off?
This indicates that the adapter’s power voltage is out of its normal operating range. Make sure that the power source voltage is connected and in the normal 8 V to 50 V range.
